CASE STUDY · SLOWGLOW RUN
Every click counts
For SlowGlow Run, a women’s running community, we created a website that invites women to run without pressure and also sells club merch – with online payment and delivery via Packeta.

The client and the brief
SlowGlow Run is a community of women who run together. No competing, no chasing mileage, everyone at her own pace. Their motto, “Every step counts,” says it all – and it holds just as true on the website.
The website had to bring that atmosphere online. Reach women who are just starting to run and might be a little worried they won’t keep up. And give the community a place to buy a T-shirt or cap with the club logo.
What we designed
The hero is a photo of runners with a large “Every step counts” headline and a pink “Join us” button. The copy is casual, short and friendly – just like the community behind it.
We let the brand take center stage: the handwritten SlowGlow logo, pink and dark green, plenty of white space. No tables of paces and times that would scare beginners off.
The page guides visitors step by step:
1. why the community started – four pillars: a community of women, movement without pressure, motivation and new friendships,
2. a quote from the founders about why they started SlowGlow,
3. four steps to get started (“Start with a small step,” “Run at your own pace”…),
4. a gallery from group runs,
5. merch,
6. the philosophy “Running isn’t just about running,”
7. the sponsors who make it all possible.

How the website works
- Merch store. The website runs on WordPress with WooCommerce. The SLOWGLOW T-shirt comes in sizes XS to XL, the caps in several colors. Items can be added to the cart right from the homepage.
- A product with a story. Besides the fabric and fit, the T-shirt page tells the story behind the design – inspired by Aesop’s fable of the tortoise and the hare, where speed doesn’t matter.
- Payment and shipping. Online payment through the Comgate payment gateway or Google Pay, delivery via Packeta to a pickup point or a Z-BOX locker.
- Community on social media. A gallery from the runs and links to Instagram and Facebook, where the community stays active between runs.
- Mobile. The mobile version keeps the same order as the desktop – a large headline, a prominent “Join us” button and the cart always at the top.

The result
The community has its own home on the web. It explains what SlowGlow is about, and joining takes one click. Merch sells directly through the website – ordering, payment and shipping are handled without any back-and-forth in messages.
