We update WordPress, the theme and plugins regularly. Bigger changes are tested on a copy of the site first so nothing stops working on the live site.
Backups
Daily backups stored outside your hosting. If something breaks, we restore the site to the previous day’s state.
Round-the-clock monitoring
Our website watchdog checks availability, certificate validity and that forms work. If the site goes down, we know within minutes.
Security
Login protection, hidden usernames and regular malware checks. A hacked site gets cleaned and secured.
Small edits
A new text, image, price list or subpage within an agreed number of hours per month. You write, we do it.

In a single audit we rolled out 155 plugin updates across 17 websites, enabled a security plugin on 27 sites, and our watchdog monitors 13 websites around the clock. We have also cleaned a site that got infected through an outdated plugin and fixed forms that were not delivering enquiries.

Frequently asked questions
Which websites is this suitable for?
Mainly websites and online stores on WordPress and WooCommerce, but also sites we built from scratch. On Shoptet the platform handles the technical side; there we help with content and settings.
Do you have to build the site to look after it?
No. We also take over sites from other agencies or freelancers. We start with a health check and a backup, then gradually get the site in order.
What if the site gets hacked?
We clean it, restore it from a backup if needed, and secure it so it does not happen again. We have done this before, including for sites we did not previously manage.
How much does website care cost?
A monthly fee based on scope: the size of the site, the number of plugins and how many edits you need per month. You get a proposal after the health check, with no long-term contract.
How fast do you handle an outage?
Monitoring alerts us within minutes and we deal with it ahead of other work. Regular edit requests are handled on working days.
Do I keep access to my website?
Yes. The website, domain and hosting are yours and you always have access. We get our own access, which can be revoked at any time.
Can you also make bigger changes?
Yes. A new section, a redesign or an integration with another system is a separate order, with scope and price agreed upfront.
